Official Notification for B.Ed Admission 2026

It is hereby notified that the application for Admission to B.Ed. is open at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) for the academic session 2026-2028 from 15th May 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission to B.Ed. Courses are as follows:

  1. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks for general and 45% for SC/ST/OBC having a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science/ Social Science / Humanities from UGC recognized Universities/ colleges/ institutions.
  2. Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or any other subject having school subjects with a minimum aggregate mark of 55% for general and 50% for SC/ST/OBC from UGC recognized Universities/ colleges/ Institutions.
  3. Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as per the rules of the state government is applicable.
  4. Application shall be accepted from students awaiting Bachelor Degree Result, but they are to produce their result at the time of interview. They will upload last marksheet (recent/previous semester) of their Bachelor Degree.
  5. Application fees for entrance into B.Ed. under IASE is Rs. 300/- plus processing fee which is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  6. Written test shall carry 100 marks. Common Entrance Examination Syllabus for secondary teacher education institution under Government of Mizoram will be followed which can be downloaded from the website  (Download Syllabus).
  1. Tentative Dates:
  1. Last date for submission of application form online: 15th June, 2026
  2. Publication of Eligible Candidates for Written Examination: 17th June, 2026
  3. Written Examination: 29th June, 2026
  4. Publication of Written Examination Result: 3rd July, 2026
  5. Interview Date: 8th to 10th July 2026.
