Official Notification for B.Ed Admission 2024

Application for Admission to B.Ed. is open at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) for the academic session 2024-2026 from 13th May, 2024 to 13th June, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed. are as follows:

  1. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks for general and 45% for SC/ST/OBC having Masters or Bachelor in Science/ Social Science / Humanities from UGC recognized Universities/ colleges/ institutions.
  2. Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics or any other subject having school subjects with a minimum aggregate mark of 55% for general and 50% for SC/ST/OBC from UGC recognized Universities/ colleges/ Institutions.
  3. Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as per the rules of the state government is applicable.
  4. Application shall be accepted from students awaiting Bachelor Degree Result, but they are to produce their result at the time of interview. They will upload last marksheet (recent/previous semester) of their Bachelor Degree.
  5. Application fees for entrance into B.Ed. & M.Ed. Course under IASE is non-refundable under any circumstances.
  6. Written test shall carry 60 marks. Topics to be covered in the written examination –
    1. General English (15 Marks),
    2. Teaching Aptitude (15 Marks),
    3. Contemporary Education (15 Marks)
    4. Arithmetic (15 Marks).
  7. Tentative Dates:
    1. List of Eligible Candidates for Written Examination: 14th June, 2024 (Friday)
    2. Written Examination: 21st June, 2024 (Friday)
    3. Publication of Written Examination Result: 28th June, 2024 (Friday)
    4. Interview Date : Shall be notified in the college website.

Application for Admission to M.Ed. is open at Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) for the academic session 2024-2026 from 13th May, 2024 onwards. Detail information regarding admission procedure will be notified later in the Website.
